Requirement:

• In possession of a craft training/welding certificate.
• At least 2 years seaservice as fitter on ships over 750kw or 5 years shore based machine shop experience or 5 years experience as engine rating.
• If new recruit at least nine months experience as fitter on oceangoing vessels.
• New recruit to undergo welding grade test with acceptable results (if available).
• Age between 25 and 45 (upon first appointment in rank)
  - Ability to communicate in English at a level.
  - Sufficient to do on board duties.
  - Sufficient to understand and perform emergency.
• Nationalities Indonesians.
